Long Lake is a pristine clear lake that connects to Big Lake and Lewey Lake (over 10,000 acres of water). This area lends itself to such water activities as swimming, kayaking, canoeing and some of the best bass fishing anywhere in the East. There are islands to explore and even the wreck of the steamboat, "Captain Lewy". Also there is the opportunity to see moose, deer, as well as loons and wild ducks right in front of the dock. Additionally there are some pairs of Bald Eagles that have nested here for a number of years.
Inside of the Jones Cabin is a screened in porch that looks out to the lake. There is a dining room with wrap around windows which give a panoramic view of the lake.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishes/pots/pans etc. The living room has a couch that opens to a queen-size bed and a wood stove.
